Welcome

I love making things. Fabric, yarn, fibre, paper, paint and print are my tools of choice. The necessities of life generally manage to get in the way of my need to create , so it all tends to get a bit erratic. Exactly as the blog title suggests.

Here is my attempt to organise things and keep a record of my efforts.

My little Folksy shop is taking a holiday for a while but I hope to re-open soon and sell things that I have made for the sheer pleasure, but are surplus to my needs.

It all started with a camper van.....

.... if it had not been for the Dorset Cereals competition to win a VW camper van then I may not be blogging.

Now there's a thought.

The Dorset Cereals site is really quite good, but ouch! takes up a lot of time that may or may not be more productively spent dusting or hoovering (Dysoning to be precise). They have a "little blog awards" section which tends to lead you off on trails on the ether.

However, I am glad that I found Rachel Goodchild's blog. It holds a wealth of information for those of us lucky enough to live in the West Country and for anyone venturing down here.

RACHEL GOODCHILD - RECYCLE

... still trying for the camper van though!

Just to remind myself that time is ticking and if I want a camper van, then the best way is to do some work not sit here dreaming.

  1. Brilliant... and what a loss to the literary world if you had neither found blogging, or now stop blogging to do other things..... you always find something interesting to comment about..
