I love making things. Fabric, yarn, fibre, paper, paint and print are my tools of choice. The necessities of life generally manage to get in the way of my need to create , so it all tends to get a bit erratic. Exactly as the blog title suggests.

Here is my attempt to organise things and keep a record of my efforts.

My little Folksy shop is taking a holiday for a while but I hope to re-open soon and sell things that I have made for the sheer pleasure, but are surplus to my needs.

Bargain!!

As a first time jumble saler I thought I had bagged a bargain when I bought a big bag of carpet wool for the princely sum of £1!

Indeed it is a bargain. I thought that it would be a good idea to give it a quick wash as I was not sure what what lurking in it and it was a bit dusty.

I tied it up in a net bag and trusted my washing machine to give it a quick wash.






The washing machine worked wonders.

The knot in the bag however, came loose.

That is my Sunday morning sorted then!
